Front-end Design & Implementation Recommendations

Question to the SydJS brains trust. We've got a chunk of front-end work on
our plate that we're contemplating getting done externally -- either
through an agency or individual contractor(s). It's for a critical part of
our system and requires both up-front UX/UI design work as well as
follow-through implementation, and we're looking for a high level of
quality for both.
I'm looking for recommendations on who you'd recommend contacting for
something like this ... we'd ideally like to give this to a single person
or team, rather than having to pull together separate design &
implementation contractors. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
