xml manipulation - delete nodes based on condition

Hi guys,

I am building an archiver program which would be like an add-on to my
software at work, which, oddly enough doesn't support project archiving.

The idea is to manipulate the xml file used to store projects data and
to move respective folders to archive folder. The last piece of the
puzzle before puting together the green shoes gui is the xml
manipulation. I've tried with nokogiri and the guys at nokogiri-talk
were great, but it still doesn't work.

If anyone has any experience related to this, I'd really appreciate if
you could have a look at
https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups=#!topic/nokogiri-talk/tdLdFPTkkDA

kind regards,
seba

I've just gotten the answer on nokogiri-talk where I went wrong...
I'll try to complete the code later tonight.
