Its there a way in shoes (or green_shoes) to click a rectangle (or image),
have it follow the mouse until you click again, then drop the rectangle (or
image) at the location of the cursor when the second click occurs? I have
tried many ways with no success.

Hi Timothy,

Look at sample13 on Green Shoes.
A tiny streaming flash video is here:
https://github.com/ashbb/green_shoes/blob/master/old_README2.md

The same in Red Shoes is here:

Hope this helps,

Thanks.
