[green shoes] edit_box bug?

[green shoes] edit_box bug?

Hi,

Took me a while to figure out what was happening.
In the code below.
The edit_box does not appear.
Without the background line.
The edit_box shows up, but you cannot type into it....

Eelco
------
require 'green_shoes'
Shoes.app do
   background khaki
   flew = flow do
     para 'Just some text'
   end
   button "go" do
     flew.clear {
       edit_box
     }
   end
end
-------

yeeej,

It works.....
Thanks....

ehmm as a sidenote?
How do I keep my versions up with yours?
I use gem update.. But you don't create gems of all minor version changes...
Can i just grab the source from github and put it in my gem folder? Or
do I need additional setup steps..

Hi Eelco,

Thank you for finding the bug and confirming the fix. :)

If you want to make the gem by yourself. Look at the following.

-------------
C:\ashbb\tmp>git clone git://github.com/ashbb/green_shoes.git

C:\ashbb\tmp>cd green_shoes

C:\ashbb\tmp\green_shoes>rake gemspec
(in C:/ashbb/tmp/green_shoes)
Generated: green_shoes.gemspec
green_shoes.gemspec is valid.

C:\ashbb\tmp\green_shoes>rake build
(in C:/ashbb/tmp/green_shoes)
WARNING:  no rubyforge_project specified

C:\ashbb\tmp\green_shoes>gem uninstall green_shoes
Successfully uninstalled green_shoes-0.189.0

C:\ashbb\tmp\green_shoes>cd pkg

C:\ashbb\tmp\green_shoes\pkg>ls
green_shoes-0.191.0.gem

C:\ashbb\tmp\green_shoes\pkg>gem install green_shoes-0.191.0.gem

Before making the gem, you may need to do `gem install jeweler`.

Or you can use Bundler with your app: http://gembundler.com/
