Access to some repos?

Access to some repos?

Hey guys-

Today is a whole big giant day of writing documentation and cleaning stuff
up on Hackety... and so I thought I'd try to do the same for Shoes, too.

Would anyone mind me having access to the shoes github? I'd like to start
merging in some of the good stuff we've got going for Policeman. Also, I
think it'd be good to have the canonical version of shoes-web up there, too.

Also, I was checking out the wiki, and it seems like there's a lot of cruft
up there... would anyone mind if I made a few edits? I'm not sure what the
protocol really is...

What's really unfortunate is the "Who's working on What" page... it seems
like a lot of people have dropped out. :/

You need to ask Mental (http://github.com/mental) or Seth
(http://github.com/greatseth). Probably worth contacting them directly as
they might not see the request here.

Great idea. A lot of great work has been done on Shoes, but unfortunately
this isn't immediately obvious from the official repo. I'm pretty sure
people will forget to check the network and will just assume Shoes
development has stalled.

Good idea too.

Go for it. I've tried to tend to it as best I can (can't delete pages as
don't have admin access), but feel free to make improvements.

What bits are the cruft? ;-)

I'm mostly thinking the three or four outdated windows build instructions,
as well as the "who's working on what" page, since almost none of those
people (seem) to be doing anything anymore. I'd like to at least rebuild the
list out of what's actually going on.

Ok, but it would be nice to archive that information somehow. Not sure
the best way to do this on the Github wikis. Perhaps just create an
archive page and stick everything on there?

Yeah. That's a good idea.

I'll think about it, and try to come up with something.
