Oh? I made that new thread? This mailing list software is
obnoxious, as it's giving me no feedback.. it doesn't send me a copy of
the message I sent to it, and it doesn't show up on the archive on the
librelist website until hours later.I guess it is working on this list
then. Weird thing is, I actually sent that thread twice. So, it's only
seemingly picked up the second try.Boggled. :|

Yes, but what I mean is that she created a thread titled "Captivated",
so she can obviously make threads.

Maybe this is the real core of the issue: differing expectations. I've
never thought about it, but you're right: Google Groups also send you
a copy of the emails you post to the list, and librelist doesn't. The
archive isn't instantly updating, it's an archive. So it's entirely
possible that this is just a large issue of misunderstanding.

I'm not sure that's it, it shows that you double posted.

Quite awhile ago I started a (very bad) Shoes app that is an interface to
the Librelist archives here:
http://github.com/i5m/shoefiti/tree/v0.0.1
It updates in real(er) time since it's pulling from the json archives (just
how the old web based interface used to work).
Crying out for someone clever to make it a better app.

Maybe that'd be a good example for the blog...

Just sent you a pull request to clean up that nasty whitespace. Let me know
what you think!
