diprocd - Distributed Process Control Daemon

diprocd - Distributed Process Control Daemon

Hello,

after a while, I have a nice documentation for diprocd:

http://projects.ceondo.com/p/diprocd/

Basically diprocd is a standalone "procer", the worker, with a single
json file to configure all the processes together with a master/clients
to publish new versions of the process list for the workers on your nodes.

The goal is to easily manage processes on several nodes from a central
point. It is robust, in fact, maybe the most robust part of my PaaS :)

It can be a source of inspiration for others. It is written in Python
and of course uses ZMQ for the master/client part. The installation
procedure is really simple:

  python setup.py install

All my Photon processes are managed with it and not a single issue for
the past 2 months.

Have a nice WE,
loïc

Not really. "Edited the message as new" for Photon and added a bit
Photon specific information. Basically, spent a bit of time to make the
doc, clean the paths, add default configuration and better setup.py.
This makes things easier to test...
