Hi everyone,

Power-lan is happy to announce the start of pre-orders of its new service
GreenHDD.
GreenHDD is another storage service on internet which focus on those two
points :
- The energy spend in our infractrusture, we use about 1.3W per To and we
are working to reduce it more and more.
- Sécurity of your data, all offers are hosted on RAID5 stack, and your
data are encrypted. Your data are unlock and lock when your client open and
close session.

GreenHDD is working with Photon for the website part.

sorry for the delay in the answer, the WE was busy. This sounds really
interesting. I would be really interested in knowing how you manage this
session unlock/lock. If you have a bit more information, that would be
nice (we are talking about the security of the data, so this is
important). If I can't get info from you in public, I will ask in private :)

Hi loic,

The privacy of your data in made with LUKS and the AES backend.
The session management is made by a custom PAM module which provide
callback on session event.
