Anyone with a Galaxy S3?

Anyone with a Galaxy S3?

Hey all,

I was really excited when my wife got her new Galaxy S3 yesterday, was less
excited when I downloaded the game I made from the Play Store and saw that
the graphics weren't working properly. :(

Anyone here have an S3 and would be willing to replicate the bug for me?

And maybe I should ask, anyone ever heard of a problem where a resource
file such as "c2.png" (two of clubs in a card game) will not load, but one
named "ck.png" (king of clubs) would? I'm assuming the length of the
filename plus the presence of a number? Anyway, a weird one!

If that's a bug that's pretty ridiculous. Have you tried renaming your
files and re-loading that on her phone?

Maybe try reaching out to your user-base and see if you have any S3 users
who could give you a hand?

Yeah tried some basic things last night, doesn't seem to actually be
related to the filename itself... I think it's related to the bit-depth of
the PNGs... the number cards were saved with a 256 color palette, whereas
the face cards were saved with an 8-bit color palette :) Live and learn!
