Hey Everyone

Just a friendly reminder that we are meeting up this Wednesday at the
Shopify offices.

If you'd like to present something let us know either in this thread or on
Reddit (psst, I use a decent amount of reddit so there's a good chance I'll
see it!)

Cheers,

Chris;

Sorry to not be too lively last night; just getting over a bad cold and
feeling kind of not so normal.

Ok - next meeting - December, if you want, I can talk about my OpenGL
Android App (using NDK) that I have on the Play store; I'm hoping to have
it do lots of neat stuff for the 3D printing and home CNC machining crowd.

Stuff like writing the shader code, or whatever.

Thanks;

John - Do you have a play link you could give us? I'll link to it from the
reddit post.

I know, I know, I should get better at marketing, but I'd rather spend my
free time coding and machining, not marketing. 8-|

Lets try this:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.freex3d

Tell me if it is not the kind of link you want for reddit.

living in Android

In July, my 8 year old laptop died. (very sad)
My mobile needs are in some way more moderate now that 3G and wifi are
far more ubiquitous and I have a smartphone. I decided to move to an
ASUS tf300. I rooted it within hours, and installed CM10, and then a
Debian ARM chroot.

A few people have expressed interest in understanding what I did, and
how well it works. If the group wants me to talk, I can do that. This
is very much not about Android development, but about use.
