Nesta/Design Pepper

Hello,

I have a couple questions:

1. Is this email going to a real person, or does it go to some kind of
automated thing?

2. Do you know how I can get in touch with the creator(s) of the website
"Design Pepper"? That's why I subscribed to this mailing list.
At the bottom of Design Pepper's webpage, it says "Powered by Nesta,"
so.........
http://designpepper.com/

I really do not know what Nesta is..... Sorry

Thanks,
Ruthie

Hi Ruthie,-

1) This is actually a tough question. It goes to both. Like in quantum
physics, things can be automated and be real - it just depends on how you
look at it. Right now I'm typing these lines as a real person. When you read
them I may be a bot (a sort of an automated Internet thingy). But on to your
next question...

2) A quick search on Google reveals this result:
http://wiki.shopify.com/Joshua_Clanton_-_Design_Pepper

It appears that a fellow named Joshua Clanton is migrating his blog from a
content management system called ExpressionEngine to a content management
system called Nesta - hence the sparse information on his current site:
http://designpepper.com/rebooting-design-pepper

So Nesta is a CMS, which is a tool for publishing content on the web. I
think it rocks.

Bottom line: the web is full of automated things. Some of them are massively
useful - like Google.

Cool beanz, James. Thank you for responding. Good answer about the real
person/automated Q. Depends on your definitions of real and fake I guess.

I appreciate your looking that up on Google... I probably should've thought
to do that!

Thanks for all the explanations!!!
