mmq - minimalist music queue
Goal: To play arbitrary audio files gaplessly and continuously without
needing a predefined queue.
mmq is an exercise in minimalism, we're more about avoiding needless
features than anything else. We're not sure what other features mmq may
have, but we won't be swayed by creeping featurism found in mainstream
mmq may be used standalone or managed by a larger application. It may
eventually become suitable for use in embedded Linux platforms, even
those without an MMU or FPU. mmq is build-time configurable and may
eventually support a variety of audio decoders and output platforms.
Currently, FLAC decoding and SALSA-lib audio output support are
implemented. Tremor and MP3 support are planned. More audio formats
via FFmpeg, GStreamer and PulseAudio may be implemented as well.
There are no releases nor ETA on one yet...
