Question about conventions

I see that you can't use a dash in group name. What then is the recommended
way to do garlicsim-user and garlicsim-dev? Should I do garlicsim.user and
garlicsim.dev? I realize I can choose whatever I want, but I prefer to
follow the most popular conventions on that.

A dot. garlicsim.user and garlicsim.dev also consider just doing
garlicsim for the user list since most people will try that when
accidentally subscribing.

Thanks, I'll take your suggestion and do garlicim + garlicsim.dev.
