caching

caching

I've been trying to track my memory usage really closely as I fetch
messages and it lead me to wonder how MailCore does it's caching. As far
as I can tell it caches the body structure and any downloaded parts in
memory until the CTCoreAccount is deallocated. Is that correct? Is there
any way to purge messages from the cache when you are done with them,
without deallocating the whole account?

I didn't think that LibEtPan cached that data. Do you have any information
from Instruments.app that you can pass along that will help me investigate
this?

Thanks,
