How to subscribe to this list

Hi all,

since the subscription instructions on http://librelist.com/help.html
are slightly wrong (I already dropped a mail to the meta list), here are
the definitive subscription instructions.

1. Send a mail to leiningen@librelist.com using the mail address you'd
   like to use for that list. In contrast to what's currently said on
   the Help page, this mail will be *dropped*. So don't have any
   concerns that you'll pollute the list with a "hey, I also want to
   read the list" mail.

2. You'll get a confirmation request mail within a few seconds. Simply
   reply to that. (It'll also not appear anywhere.)

3. You get a "Welcome to leiningen list." mail confirming that your
   subscription has been processed. From this time on, all your mails
   to leiningen@librelist.com will appear on the list.

If you want to filter messages from this list into some separate group,
all messages have a unique

  List-Id: leiningen@librelist.com

header. If you use IMAP and your provider supports the SIEVE filtering
language, a corresponding rule looks like the following:

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
# Sort Leinigen@LibreList.com mails into lists.leiningen
if header :contains ["List-Id"] "leiningen@librelist.com" {
  fileinto "lists.leiningen";
  stop;
}
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

If you filter locally using procmail, a similar receipe looks like so
(untested):

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
# Put mail from leiningen mailing list into mailbox leiningen
:0:
* ^List-Id: leiningen@librelist\.com
leiningen
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

HTH,
Tassilo

Thanks; I hope to get around to integrating these instructions into the
web site at http://leiningen.org/list.html. If anyone wants to beat me
to it that'd be great too. =)
