Building?

Building?

Howdy,

Is there a way to build jars for the project? I want to test some changes
in a local clone. Running

> mvn ant:ant

hangs at this step:

```
Downloading:
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/com/aragost/javahg/javahg-parent/0.6/javahg-parent-0.6.pom
```

Hey John,
I know very little about maven but what I do is run `mvn install`. You'll
likely have to do this for javahg-parent too. This compiles the project and
makes it available to other maven projects locally (the jars are at M2_HOME
if you want to access them directly).

Ok. Unfortunately, I don't think I have that option in my circumstances.
I'm in the process of writing a build.xml for Ant, which raises a new
question:

What version of Guava are you building on? I've so far run into one use of
a deprecated function [1]. I will probably end up contributing my changes
back to the project, but I need to know if I should go ahead and fix things
like this.

Thanks,
John

Sure, that would be useful so Maven isn't such a hard dependency

The latest version available to maven (see pom.xml). I don't think its even
bound to a major version.
