I'm afraid I'll have to miss the first meeting but I'd love to attend the next one. I'm an engineer at Palm so I could to a quick intro to building mobile apps with HTML, CSS & JavaScript. - Josh On Feb 27, 2010, at 2:15 PM, Hack Eugene wrote: > If you haven't heard on the twitter feed our first meeting is the First Tuesday of March, that's March 2nd. Oh! That's too bad. Still, yes, that's great that you want to talk about mobile applications! It's a hot and trendy topic these days and great for budding hackers. Send me some info and we can work on a small presentation/lightening talk. Well, I'm the developer advocate for Palm Inc, meaning it's my job to get people excited about building apps for Palm's app store. I only just started so I'm still learning the platform and APIs. Previously I worked for Sun on Java and JavaFX, so I can talk about those as well if anyone's interested. Though I work for companies in Silicon Valley, I live here in Eugene.
