Thoughts on this weeks episode?

The rat crawling out of Doreen's mouth was a nice touch.

I was hoping we would get a full blown Fight Club scene with Walker.

And what about Hvit?...

talk to me

Hvit was a surprise but I have no idea what they want him for. Did he
originally get the virus and it's stored in his frozen head?

I was surprised they killed Army Guy and it was kinda cool how Julia's
friend was a hallucination. I rewatched the scene where she introduced him
to Dr. Hataki and he def didn't act as if he really saw her. He did kind of
humor her later though.

I think the rat-out-of-the-mouth was the best thing in the whole episode.

Didn't enjoy this episode as much as the previous ones. I feel things are
getting away from "reality," if I can even use that work here, with too
many incongruous things being introduced that I can't see how they might
eventually connect up (which could be all about me).

I can't believe shaky blond doctor hiding away an infected person and
shooting up with her (I also this character really annoying and every time
she's onscreen I wish she had died instead of Doreen).

The standoff between Hataki's adopted son and Army Guy (look at that,
they're so memorable I can't even remember their names) was anticlimactic
and melodramatic. The axe in the chest was a bit extreme and out of the
blue, why not just stun him for questioning?

For me the Main CDC Doctor swings between believable and in totally over
his head. He's still my favorite living character though.

No opinion about Former Wife CDC Doctor on the quarantine level (though it
did seem to take them a long time to go 50 meters to the other lab).

Still not going to give up on it yet (but a couple more episodes like this
and Agents of Shield might not look so bad). There might be a secret alien
base around somewhere or the black goo is some sort of alien intelligence
or maybe, just maybe, a secret Nazi/alien base where they're manufacturing
the black goo to put in the water supply and poison of "precious bodily
fluids."
