The Passage

What an excellent book! I'm about 25% of the way through and my
non-telepathic vampire reading productivity has taken a bit of a hit. It's
got a very Stephen King feel to it (this is what it must have been like in
The Stand's lab before the shit hit the fan and the Captain Trips disease
got out). The Passage's disease hasn't escaped into the real world yet but
I expect it to happen any page now.

I'm totally hooked--Thanks for the recommendation.

Geez man you read fast.

Glad you enjoy it tho.

I think I read that one in about a week cause it was so damn good. I'm on
Ghost Story of the Dresden Files right now and it's pretty good but I
haven't gotten too far. After that I might finish off the available Dresden
books since only Cold Days is left ATM and then go onto Lord Foul's Bain.

The Passage

Well, they finally began the journey to bring Amy to Colorado. Thank god, I
was beginning to get a little tired of that walled mini-dystopia where
everyone's going slowly crazy from those telepathic vampire dreams (The
Twelve are definitely the original twelve experimental subjects from 100
years back).

Things are about to get real yo!

I'm about 5% into Ghost Story and will soon finish up Dresden for a while
and move onto something else.

Finished The Passage over the weekend. Though I'm disappointed that Peter
and the rest don't become super-ninja viral-fighting soldiers it was still
and excellent read. When I finish Dust I'm going to get The Twelve.

The Twelve is good as well, and a nice change of pace since it has more
of the back-story and other angles than the Passage did.
