Mailing list for the group

Mailing list for the group

Guys, I went ahead and created just a simple mailing list for the Game
Night group.

The list of email addresses has grown quite a bit and it seems like I
personally always forget to include someone on the list or sometimes
just reply instead of reply all.

So I made the list gamenight@librelist.com for us to more easily
coordinate the schedule and chat about other junk we want more easily so
everyone can stay in the loop.

There is no "subscription" mechanism other than sending an email to the
list address gamenight@librelist.com. The first time you email you will
get a confirmation back, and then after that you just email that list
directly.

I've cc'd everyone on this email as well as sent it to the list. If
everything things this is a bad idea, just let me know and ignore the
list completely and we can forget it.

In other news, anyone else catch this week's Helix????

It was awesome :D. Does Librelist do anything with our emails and
addresses?

Besides sell them to the Germans? No.

Its written and run by Zed Shaw. If you know anything about Zed Shaw,
you can be sure you dont have to worry about it

I do know Zed. Didn't he make Webrick and then hate the community? He's my
kind of dev.

Fantastic idea!

Cannot believe they killed Doreen instead of Sarah (the one with the shaky
hand). Doreen was the most interesting of the three female characters
(hopefully they're not going to bring her back from the dead, that would
really suck). I'm really interested in finding out exactly what game
Balleseros, the army guy, is playing. Don't know if he's working with
Hatake, against Hatake, or for some strange gov't/alien conspiracy we
haven't heard about yet. Overall, I'm still interested in following these
characters a bit longer and seeing what happens.

Bought Kindle copies of The Passage and Sand but haven't started either yet.

Yeah, I liked Doreen (and I personally don't think she is going to be
"dead." I think like you fear, she will come back with some kind of
virus from the rats). I never understand why doctor's always fall for
the old syringe-in-the-neck trick :)
