cron job problem

Hi,

I finally had the time to instal the software! I had a problem with the
cron job though. Running on WHM/cPanel on CENTOS 5.11 x86_64 standard
and PHP version 5.4.34:

cd /home/myfriendica/public_html; /usr/bin/php include/poller.php

I got the following error:

***
X-Powered-By: PHP/5.4.34
Content-type: text/html

Warning: require_once(boot.php): failed to open stream: No such file or
directory in /home/myfriendica/public_html/include/poller.php on line 3

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'boot.php'
(include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in
/home/myfriendica/public_html/include/poller.php on line 3
***

Any idea how to correct it?

By the way, on http://friendica.com/resources , the link "Help for cron
settings" http://friendica.eu/display/support/78880 just leads to a
restricted user profile.

Regards,

Ronald

Are you sure, that "/usr/bin/php" ist the CLI version of php? Do you have
shell access? If yes, then please try to do these commands separately.
That means:

at first:
cd /home/myfriendica/public_html

and then:
/usr/bin/php include/poller.php

Then please tell us, what you see.

Hi,

yes, I have root access, running those commands I get actually the same
as I got by email:

***
X-Powered-By: PHP/5.4.34
Content-type: text/html

<br />
<b>Warning</b>: require_once(boot.php): failed to open stream: No such
file or directory in
<b>/home/myfriendica/public_html/include/poller.php</b> on line
<b>3</b><br />
<br />
<b>Fatal error</b>:  require_once(): Failed opening required 'boot.php'
(include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in
<b>/home/myfriendica/public_html/include/poller.php</b> on line
<b>3</b><br />
root@host2 [/home/myfriendica/public_html]#
***

By the way, the server has Centos (CENTOS 5.11 x86_64 standard), not
Debian.

To me that's not the output of php-cli . Looks like php-cgi, with response
headers...

Oh yes, make sure is the CLI version of php executable...
On Debian there is a package called "php5-cli"

You could try to add /home/myfriendica/public_html to PHP's "include_path"

Do you have access to a shell and can test the php command directly?
