Friendica not sending to Facebook, Twitter, Status.net

Friendica not sending to Facebook, Twitter, Status.net

Hi,

I set up a private friendica site and installed the connector plugins
for Facebook, Twitter and Status.net (identi.ca).

I get updates from either of them but i cannot post.

When I post (all checkboxes enabled, post to all) nothing appears on
those networks. Federation works as far as I can tell from the logfile.

In the log file I further get "facebook post" but no further details
whenever I post.

What could be possibly wrong?

Regards,

Christian

Did you set up the apps on the appropriate networks?
Did you configure them in settings/addon?
Also, sometimes xposting is slow with Friendica (Red is much faster).

But the problem is we cant get it installed.
Will try again myself with dreamhost. I have failed to get a local
working copy running correctly.

1) USE DREAMHOST. Its a cakewalk to setup. Choose CGI not fast CGI when
setting up the site.
2) use the password you are sent in the email.

Status.net (w/o plugins or add-ons folder) seems to be working.

Will test further. DREAMHOST is a cakewalk to setup. Just get your
database setup, setup a user account, FULLY HOST
the domain and you are good to go.
