Whither Round #6?

Whither Round #6?

So it was thrown out that Round 6 might be plain old Aeolian mode on
Monday ... here we are Friday and nothing is posted ...

Are we just in a holding pattern till after New Years now? Next week
xmas, week after NYE/Day ... probably a little late to announce
something today for Monday finish -- though honestly I *only* work on
my submissions on the weekends so that'd be OK by me.

Or are things just being tweaked to announce/pimp on guitar sites and
Rnd 6 will be battle of the 14 year olds?

Just curious, as I'll have some time to play/noodle over the weekend
if I know what the next topic will be.

Sorry, I meant to email everyone about that. I was working this week on
getting Librelist stable, which kind of took it out of me. I'll do
Round 6 starting this sunday now that I've stabilized librelist.

I also want to get a few features (like gear) working for Round 6 so we
can all try them out.

Nope, just slammed with other stuff. I actually want to have a round
ready for right after xmas day. Lots of people get guitars on xmas day.
:-)

I'd love to start pimping right on xmas, when people have all their
fresh new toys to play with. But, I thik if I don't have gear and
simpler signup done then I'll have to wait.

The idea is that there'll be tons of people who will join, but probably
can't play right on xmas, so having the ability to post pics of their
new gear will be fun.

Now that I've read Dylan's ideas though, I'm also thinking I could crank
out the blog feature and then it'd be even more fun for people who
aren't quite ready to compete.

You know, I *really* wish I could open up rounds to anyone. That'd make
the site a total blast, but I know some dickwad will post some copyright
material and get my ass sued. <sigh>

Anyway, just hang in there. I'm back on the case so we'll get new
rounds and stuff soon.
