Would anyone be interested in being a dumpster run facilitator sometime next week? You'd be showing people from the TCMN food committee how to get food to serve at the convergence space for anti-G20 stuff. If so, let me know what your availability is like!
hey david -- i could facilitate some dumpster runs next week. i really havent gone dumpstering with a recent food not bombs crew in toronto but we probably go to some of the same dumpsters - oh ya -- i think that's how we first met - when we were both dumpstering the same dumpster at the same time :) so perhaps we could go on a dumpster tour together and perhaps share new ones sometime this week and then i could facilitate some dumpster runs next week. the best time for me is tomorrow night after i teach -- so that would be about 10pm meet around bloor/bathurst. this is the area i frequent, but if you have any other suggestions of any other areas that have good dumpsters that would help me add variety to routine, that would be sweet!! let me know if this time works for you. and if it doesnt, i can facilitate some dumpster runs next week regardless. next week is pretty flexible for me. i love taking people dumpstering. yay! linds. Hey Linds - sorry for the delay in response, things are really hectic on my end. I don't think I'll have the chance to go dumpstering before the end of the week since between work and trying to bike around and poster/flyer for a show I'm putting on this Sunday, I'm feeling pretty overextended. I have a feeling we go to the same dumpsters though! I usually stay within the Markham-Spadina crawl on Bloor which is good for the TCMN people since the convergence space is at Steelworkers. Anyway, I'm waiting to hear back from the TCMN folks about which days they'll need our help with and I'll keep you in the loop!
