Ajax Image Uploading

Ajax Image Uploading

Hi,

I'm using flask with wtforms and flask-wtforms. I am trying to upload an
image using Ajax but as far as I can see, it isn't possible, and I need to
stick to a standard upload form. I've seen mention of Flask Sijax but this
looks like using a hammer to break a nut.

Any suggestions from the flask community please?

James

Hi,

I haven't coded anything up yet, I've just been reading through the docs
here:
http://wtforms.simplecodes.com/docs/

There is no mention of any ajax uploading capability and google doesn't
return any information about achieving this within flask with wtforms as
far as I can see.

I use flask-uploads and it's a breeze. See:

With background uploading ,you can submit your form into a hidden iframe,
after complete call parent.xxx in the iframe to notify that the uploading
has complete.

It is easy to code.

<form target="youriframe" ... >...</form>
