redis flask extension

redis flask extension

Hello,

I am searching for a redis-flask extension. What would be an ideal choice?
I found that there is none listed on the official extensions page and there
are many on github. I want something that uses redis-py. Any suggestions
will be helpful :)

Thanks

Sandeep

Hi,

I'm developer of Flask-And-Redis, it uses redis-py, so have a try! Usage is
simple as possible:

settings.py
COUNTER_KEY = 'my-counter'
REDIS_URL = 'redis://localhost:6379/0'

app.py
from flask import Flask
from flask.ext.redis import Redis

import settings

app = Flask(__name__)
app.config.from_object(settings)
redis = Redis(flask)

@app.route('/')
def index():
    counter = redis.incr(app.config['COUNTER_KEY'])
    return 'Page opened {0} time(s)'.format(counter)

More details available at GitHub,
