It has to be said.

I have to say something about Flask:
The documentation is excellent. Well written, easy to read, a
pleasure to refer to, and a comforting tone as well.
Django is great etc, but Flask is the thing.

Much appreciated.

Yep! That's one of the reasons I love flask too. Other (micro)frameworks
have terrible documentation.

The documentation really is outstanding. I sent the pdf to a copyshop and
had it printed and bound, and read it like a book.
It has more value for free than a lot of books i have purchased.
Thanks a lot for this!

Documentation is excellent, that s also why we use Jinja2 for our
previous django projects.

Proof!
I paid €0.06 for each page, and €2.99 for the binding, so €15.05 in total.
There is a typo here and there, but other than that it is absolutely
on par with a book from a big publishing house.

That is awesome to hear. In case you find typos, please let me know and
send a pull request on github :) I currently don't have the time myself
to proof read the existing documentation unfortunately.

Hi Armin,

at the moment I'm extremely short on time too, but i will do some
proof-reading when time permits.
Thanks again for all the hard work you put into the documentation!

Flask docs are indeed great, and I'd like to see a shoutout for Sphinx
on this thread. Sphinx rocks! The docs/ area of the Flask project is
a great resource if you're figuring out how to use Sphinx on your
project. Thanks Armin et al -- Flask's sphinx config, theme, and
LaTeX .sty are really useful.

If anyone's looking to contribute to Flask, set yourself up with an
editor which can easily spellcheck against ReST (and grammar check for
a bigger win). Then watch the git repo for new docs and docstrings.
:-) We can assist with git if it's new to you.

-Ron

PS - I'd really like to see a Flask-inspired theme make its way into
the Sphinx distribution. The Flask theme is reserved (by request) for
Flask-based projects, so we're considering publishing our own theme on
one of my projects.
