Hi, yeah Openfire was missconfigured, apparently the function to join a
room comes in different versions where you can pass a String "username" as
parameters, or also additional parameters such as list previous
conversations of the room you want to Join or also a password etc.
I'm guessing when I had more functionalities up, the join function the
converse client was executing didn't match what the server expected and the
Join didn't happen. In the end I checked the options "list rooms in
directory" and "Allow users to register in the room" options, in case
anyone asks you again.
Thanks a lot for your help.
