Connection object is missing RID and SID

Connection object is missing RID and SID

JC,

I tried using the new version of converse from
https://github.com/jcbrand/converse.js/tree/build
and ran into some problems.

It looks like it uses a new version of Strophe. Which in turn is missing
RID and SID properties on the Connection object. In my chat client I
create a new connection using Strophe directly, so I can pass the user
name and password to automate the log-in. Then I am using the RID and SID
values that I get from Strophe.Connection with Converse.js to bind to the
previously established connection.

Since I can no longer get RID and SID and Converse requires them to do the
binding, my chat client no longer works. I was wondering if you are aware
of the issue and whether you have any suggestions on how to get around the
problem.

Thanks,
Andrei

Hi Andre

Is it perhaps related to this?
https://github.com/jcbrand/converse.js/issues/180

Thanks JC. This indeed looks like the same issue I've experienced. I'll
try this solution.

Andrei
