Hi Deepak

You need to set up the development environment in which the individual HTML
files are loaded separately (this only works with require.js).

See here for info on how to do this:
https://conversejs.org/docs/html/development.html

There is a mockup in converse.js/mockup/index.html against which you can test
your CSS and markup changes.

JC

You change the theme by editing these files:
https://github.com/jcbrand/converse.js/tree/master/src/templates

And by changing the CSS or Sass files (or on older versions Less):
https://github.com/jcbrand/converse.js/tree/master/sass

If you've edited Less or Sass files, you need to run "make css" to generate the
CSS.

You need to now use the dev.html page (not the index.html page) because it
loads all the dependencies (including the HTML files) separately.

You're most likely not using dev.html as I mentioned you should.

I've wrote some docs yesterday to help with theming:
https://github.com/jcbrand/converse.js/blob/master/docs/source/theming.rst
