It would be good to know a bit about the members, their interests,
etc. I will go first.

I am Pradip Caulagi. I am new to Haskell and have done only a couple
of exercises. My experience with functional programming started a
couple years ago when we formed a reading group for SICP. I was also
influenced by Little schemer. I have dabbled a bit with Clojure and
Erlang.

Hi,

I am Shantanu Kumar. I am new to Haskell too -- have only learnt a bit of
Haskell using "Learn You A Haskell.." at the REPL and command line. I am
familiar with FP though; I have used Clojure professionally and personally
for few years.

Hi,

I am Ashok Gautham. I have dabbled with Haskell for several years now and
have never been serious about it since I haven't had a "support group"
(:P) like this. I used to use Hakyll for powering my blog, but have since
started using Ghost. I love compilers and programming languages and in
particular functional languages have interested me a lot. I love Haskell
because of type-classes.

I suggest we set up some sort of informal todos within the group to break
the newbie shackles and start writing serious applications in Haskell.
---
Ashok
