If I use `attic extract` can I specify **where** to extract the archive
because I can't see an option to specify a destination path
[here](https://attic-backup.org/usage.html#attic-extract)?

You would need to scp your whole repo, or extract locally and then scp

Is it possible to scp a specific archive to another host where I can try
to restore the contents of the archive?

For instance, let's say I want to scp "2015-02-24-23:00:01" is that possible
or do I have to scp the whole `my_repo`?

Thanks.

Currently, you can't. Extract will always put files in your current
directory

Ok I can live with attic extracting in the current directory.

I thought that extraction due to a lack of destination option would extract
the files to their original location, e.g. if attic backups up /home/user/dir/file
then attic extract would "restore" the files at that location.
