Marylou,
Ok, I found my message from when I was trying to build from scratch:
http://groups.google.com/group/shoooes/msg/ac6c400611e4cc8e
And I got as far as building Cairo, so I must have built glib fine,
but that was on PPC. However, I can't remember which version I built.
Sorry, can't help much more right now. If I have a chance to get on my
mac I'll see if I can build glib again.

Ah, thanks i5m. Since I don't see Marylou replying, she's building on Intel,
I _think_ Snow Leopard. She's a friend of mine, helping to build the OSX
version of Hackety Hack.
