Hi Shoes People,

I just wanted to say thanks for using librelist, and also see if any of
you had feature requests or suggestions for making it more awesome.

Particularly, let me know if you run into problems with unicode
encodings, or if you have weird email setups that I might not have
encountered.

Thanks, and I'll be lurking for a while to make sure things are good.

One issue which I've had already is that the list doesn't appear to
interact well with OpenPGP signatures.

Ah yes, librelist tries to "clean up" crap emails, which will mess up
your PGP signatures something fierce.

What's the difficulty in turning that off for just one list?  How does
stripping signatures off feel?  Any other suggestions?

Stripping them off entirely is preferable to mangling them.  I might be
missing a setting somewhere, but as far as I know it isn't actually very
easy to turn off signatures in Evolution on a per-mailing list basis.  I
can turn them off per-message, but I often forget.

Cool, that was the plan anyway.  I'll cook up a policy of pgp signatures
get stripped and encrypted mail gets dropped.

Really lovely, simple thing, this librelist.  Easy to start, easy to use.  I
love the way it flies out of the hands of the initiator of the list and of
anyone else who would presume to control it, a free spirit, a creature in
the wild.  Brilliant anarchistic ethos; a blow to fascists every where.

So, how is it on your end?  Is there a pinch point of labor intensivity
somewhere?  Spam management, maybe?  I hope it's not burdensome to you.

Thanks, although I think it's just the mailing list I wanted. :-)

It just sits there routing email.  Apart the lamson server and the rsync
server for the archive access, there's not much to it.  It does do spam
filtering, but actually requiring signup confirmation is the best spam
filter on the planet.

strategy...or any directions I do not mind researching really.

Will it be posted on your blog one day? Anyways, really like the detailed
essays on your blogs.

You can actually get the code to the whole thing if you want to see how
it's done, and you can hit the docs on the lamson site:
