Java2D Rendering

So to begin with, I'm doing some experiments matching Shoes' rendering 
with Java2D. I've pushed this work in the java2d branch on github:

In order to do this (without actually embarking on a full Shoes port), 
I basically did up a little DSL which represents a subset of Shoes' 
drawing commands and implemented it for both Shoes and Swing. 

I'm seeing some odd artifacts using Java2D though, so I was wondering 
if some other folks could run clock.rb under jruby and take some 
screenshots. See if it's just my JRE/Java2D version, or a more general 
problem.

Just tried clock.rb on my PPC mac running OSX 10.5. Latest  jruby. No  
need for a screen shot, looks exactly the same as the ones Anuj Dutta  
posted.
