Was going to mention this at the last meeting but couldn't make it.
Ran across a company in Miami that will publish paid apps for a percent
of sales.

Not sure - you can find a lot of conversation all over the 'Net about this,
but
as is usual with licensing, not much clarity :-(
My take is: the act of 'linking', whether static (i.e. 'ld' from GNU
tool-chain) or dynamic
(use of .so-type artifacts) is tough to describe in a legal sense - and we
can't send all the
judges and lawyers to Computer Science classes! So, the exception explicitly
describes
a scenario where a person can decide exact how they want their 'combined'
end-product
licensed ... AND they can decide if the exception 'travels' along with the
combined end-product.
