Get it while it's hot:

http://sheddingbikes.com/posts/1305220138.html

You can download it at the usual spot:

http://mongrel2.org/home#download

And here's the tar.bz2:

Let me know if I missed anything, if you find bugs, etc.

Gentoo ebuild for this new release is ready.
https://github.com/daltonmatos/gentoo-overlay

Remember that the ebuild does not migrate the config database
automatically (yet), you will have to do this youtself.

Thanks.

ubuntu packages updated (lucid and natty), compiled with zeromq 2.1.4
(haven't had time to check why the 2.1.7 build fails, probably
path/prefix issues)

is it ok with you if I register mongrel2 on launchpad, make a team,
etc.? it feels more appropriate to me to have "ppa:mongrel2/stable" than
"ppa:iacobs/mongrel2" :)

Cool, thanks.

I don't care, I know how to use every DVCS out there.

all righty, https://launchpad.net/~mongrel2/+archive/release
ppa:mongrel2/release; this time built with zeromq 2.1.7 (same PPA)

if you have a launchpad user, let me know so I can make you a team admin :)

Unfortunately launchpad doesn't know about fossil, so I couldn't
register the bug tracker appropriately.

my message was actually about packages, not source: I am feeling a bit
strange advertising a personal "personal package archive" for a project
in which I don't participate much (and I actually still need to try using)

As for a bzr code mirror, while I personally like and use the thing,
launchpad is a wasteland, and I have no time to debug bzr-fastimport (it
crashes on the fossil output for mongrel2 right now)
