a couple of questions on librelist

a couple of questions on librelist

Hi Zed,

First, can you delete/destroy the innorthridge list. I set it up a while
back but now it's just taking space. (set up from my
chris.mahan@gmail.com account)

Secondly, we're having a discussion at the socal-piggies python user
group about setting up a separate mailing list for python job postings
in the los angeles area. Some people, such as Grig and daniel Greenfeld,
feel these don't belong there, especially not in large numbers.

We're meeting this evening, so I'm going to propose setting up another
list, but Grig is a busy guy and I don't think he wants to manage
yet-another-list. So my question is: would such a list fall within the
approved list types in librelist.com?

I also assume that because job posting history isn't terribly important,
the list archives could be purged occasionally.

Please let me know when you have a chance,

Thanks!

Also, on the Mongrel2 request at BofA, I'm still monitoring the item.
They're moving at a glacial pace, but at least haven't rejected it
outright.

I'm gonna kick Mongrel2 around a vps again for a spin...

PS: love the advice in LPTHW.

I tend to just leave them there, as they don't really take up much
space. If it becomes a problem I'll archive the old ones.

Yep, there's a bunch of user groups and such on librelist already. Go
ahead. Thing to watch out for is those groups attract the most spam, so
if you get some, just email spam@librelist.com with the address and list
and I'll ban them.

Nah, it's cool. I just keep all the lists the same.
