Hi Guys, Firstly thanks for the great service!! im really looking forward to blowing up my google groups and move them all to librelist 1 issue I have though is I would like emails from googlecode (svn commits etc..) to be allowed to be received on my lists (even though @googlecode.comcan't confirm its membership - therefore ability to post to list ) refer: http://support.librelist.com/tktview?name=67762f51c4 <http://support.librelist.com/tktview?name=67762f51c4>Just wondering if there is a chance that this could allowed or if anyone knows of a work around ( ie. manually add subscribers etc..) I may do some librelist work this week and your ticket is in the list so I'll hack on it then. There was another suggestion for how to do this so I'll check it out. > <http://support.librelist.com/tktview?name=67762f51c4>Just wondering if > there is a chance that this could allowed or if anyone knows of a work > around > ( ie. manually add subscribers etc..) Yep let me work on it. The problem with allowing this though is then that also makes it easier for spammers. Kind of a catch-22. -- Zed A. Shaw http://zedshaw.com/
thanks zed my suggestion is to whitelist known good senders guthub, googlecode etc.. either 'out of the box' / on support request / or on list member request ie. list member must email and OK the reply ' listname-allow-googlecode@librelist.com' -- if other list members aren't happy they can ' listname-disallow-googlecode@librelist.com' can't wait to kill our google groups :) cheers justin On Tue, Sep 14, 2010 at 2:58 PM, Zed A.
