Check whos on list?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there is a feature planned for an ability to check for
who is part of the list.

Obviously there are spam concerns, but there are some administration
concerns as well especially when I would like to set up a list with friends
and then start using it (and see if my friends subscribed yet, perhaps even
send invites). Or is librelist or am I taking librelist out of it's intended
purpose?

Kind of defeats the purpose of a mailing list service that I don't have to
manage if I have to bmanage it. :P it was really for seeding the list 
rather than general use.

But I see the points made regarding not knowing who's on the list.

Nah, librelist isn't really good for that.  You can try installing your
own setup of librelist though.  That might work.

I was originally wondering if this feature was in the works, too.
After some thought and discussion, there's an interesting (and I think
positive) dynamic that happens when people don't know who's on the
list, but know you can see/rsync the archives.  Keeps you honest?
