I'm making my first lego pirate ship.

When I was a kid, all the spoilt brats had the massive Lego pirate
ship. I was always jealous because it had a monkey and cannons that
actually shot lego cannon balls. Also it had a shark, that you could
put people on and they could ride the shark or you could mount the
cannons on the shark and it'd be a shark with a cannon.
So now that I'm an adult, and I have a job that pays money, I figured
I could buy my own Lego pirate ship and relive all those childhood
pirate ship memories that I never had!
Is there anyone else out there that is making their own Lego pirate
ship as an adult? If you are, I'd love to hear your stories. In
particular, what games you play with the characters. I haven't even
built the ship yet and already the monkey has been riding in the
shark. Because it's not really a shark, it's a robot shark, that the
monkey controls. I think he's trying to scare someone off.
He stuck his head out of the shark to see if he could fix the
nose-camera. It got fogged up. He also is holding a banana (not a real
one).
