Lamson still running but not logging anything

I cast logs in every route to catch incoming mails, something simple like:
"$DATE a new mail has arrived from xxx@xxx.xxx to yyy@yyy.yyy"
I start Lamson and everything is working like it should except the fact that
after 30/60m lamson.log is not updating anymore.
Lamson is still running and seems like incoming mail are still processed but
more slowly.
Then if i restart Lamson everything is working again as it should.
logs/lamson.err and logs/lamson.out are empty.
I can't find out what and where is the problem... do you have any idea?
