brew install libdnet supporting the python wrapper...

Hi,
Quick query to the list (Jack Nagel's suggested this is the correct forum).
To be able to get the brew to install the python wrapper is it enough to
fork libdnet and after the system 'make install' to add another system
call to make the wrapper?
I'm wondering if it would be better to create another independent brew
that instead of the make install only built and installed the python
wrapper with a dependancy on your brew; that seems a little to non-DRY
though.
