Hello,
I am having a few errors , which have cropped out of nowhere ,
which till yesterday were working fine . An old error has start recurring
that is this " There was an error while attempting to upload your data.
Please try again, or contact and administrator if the problem continues."
when I try to upload data , even though I haven't done any changes to the
code . The other error is that my server is timing out and going down , thus
the need of restarting after a certain period of time . How to get rid of
both the errors ?

I tried to start the stand alone geo-server yesterday , so as to get rid of
the second error . Is the first error being caused because of it ? As
previously the geo-server used to automatically start during paver host ,
and binding paver host to the geo-server ip and port .

There are many things that could go wrong during the upload process and
trigger the error message you are seeing. I recommend consulting the Django
and GeoServer logs to get a more detailed error message. As for the issue
with restarting - the 'paver host' script is a tool for developers and is
not intended to keep a geonode site running indefinitely. If you are
hosting a geonode site for others to browse, you should look at the
deployment instructions in the manual (
http://docs.geonode.org/1.0/deployment.html).
