Hi Geonode,

 

I have been trying to install Geonode and managed to install most of the
component (I think). This is the geonode
website:http://beta-u.landgate.wa.gov.au:443/. It seems to be working
apart from a number of things. One of them is I keep getting an issue
when I go into the MAPS. The error stated "the server returned an
error". I investigated the issue and it seems that the issue is that
when the maps was open a request was sent to Geoserver by geonode via
proxy:
http://beta-u.landgate.wa.gov.au:443/proxy/?url=http://beta-u.landgate.w
a.gov.au/geoserver-geonode-dev/wms?SERVICE=WMS&REQUEST=GetCapabilities
<http://beta-u.landgate.wa.gov.au:443/proxy/?url=http://beta-u.landgate.
wa.gov.au/geoserver-geonode-dev/wms?SERVICE=WMS&REQUEST=GetCapabilities>
. When I try to run the request, I get back the following error message:
"Error connecting to GeoNode authentication server: Read timed out". 

 

I tried to see what cause this by looking into the code and tried a
number of things to resolve the problem myself but none of them works.
Could someone please help me?

Have you configured the GEONODE_BASE_URL setting in Geoserver? If you have,
can you check it is looking for the right port?
