I think it's fair to say at this point that everyone who touches the code
for the navigation bar UI thinks that its bad.

I think we should get rid of it.  I don't know if there's an alternative app
to use or if its better to just do it with templates.

What do you folks think?

I think we should not worry about it for the 1.0 release.  After that, we
should probably cargo-cult whatever pinax does for navigation.
