Simple auto-registering of nodes

Since the inherent idea behind nodes is forming a network, we should
consider some mechanism that automatically registers deployed GeoNodes.
Could be something really simple to start. Just have geonodes
automatically ping a server of ours, and then we just list the locations
of the live geonodes. So we can see the network build.
In time this may prove useful for central aggregation of all the layers,
and perhaps network wide searching. And potentially cross node metadata
sharing - if you add a remote layer to a map in one node then have its
source location linked.
Would love to hear ideas of super simple ways to accomplish this.
Obviously we'd want some way for people to turn it off, but I like the
idea of GeoNodes being shared by default.
