Damage Reports

Hi,

Okay this is my understanding of the Damage reports. I would like to
point out that we still do not have an idea about the Hazard report...
but I think thats coming. Seb, please fill in anything I missed.

User interaction
The World Bank would like users of this Haiti portal to be able to
generate damage reports based on a user's selection. Our user navigates
to some damage reporting application where they are able to either
select a geographical area or one of the administrative areas.

The report itself

If the user selected a administrative area, that administrative area's
name is the title of the report. It not, there is no title. There is a
small overview map above the larger map. The main map of the report area
has all of the points in the map view window. The user's selection shows
up on the map as an outlined or something (The World Bank was not clear
on this). There is table that summarizes damage buildings where in the
select area. The table is broken by severity of damage and land use
zone. Totals of each zone is given on the far right.

I would image it would look something like

Land Use | 5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 | Total
-------------------------------------
Urban |321|12 | etc | 333
Rural |23 |32 |
Housing |2 |31 |
Industrial|4 |1 |

You guys get the idea.

For now, thats what they want for damage reports. Let me know where
people are still confused. Maybe we could talk about this early next
week or tomorrow.

Thanks everyone.

Hi Ivan,

thanks for the explanation. It is useful indeed. Please as soon as you
get an idea of how the datasets will look like, tell me. Or if you get a
sample dataset that'd be super.

Cheers,
Gabriel
